Harrisons Cafe in Newcastle Emlyn – our favourite coffee spot is in their lovely garden overlooking the River Teifi, perfect in Spring/Summer and Autumn, watching the wildlife on the river. Well-behaved dogs are allowed in the garden and also inside.

Crwst Emlyn (Takeaway) The famous Cardigan Crwst has now come to Newcastle Emlyn! Albeit for takeaway only, unless you're lucky enough to get the window seat, but still offering all their usual sweet and savoury options - perfect to enjoy whilst having a stroll around the Castle ruins and river.

The Nags Head in Abercych - lovely cosy pub in a pretty setting. Best known for their lovely Sunday carvery options (including vegan). Unfortunately, dogs are only allowed in their outdoor garden seating area.

Daffodil Inn in Penrhiwllan - pub/restaurant with a really great menu. Super dog-friendly, they even supply dog blankets and treats.

Cat Rock Cafe in Newport - Amazing sea views and dog friendly in and out. Newport is a gorgeous little beach village in Pembrokeshire – well worth the drive.

Yr Hen Printworks in Cardigan (Michelin-accredited). Great award-winning restaurant with a warm, welcoming atmosphere in an old historic building. They offer a ‘small plates’ menu (think of tapas size), really lovely local produce, and we thoroughly recommend them! Dogs are welcome in the outside terrace seating.
