The British Bird of Prey Centre at the National Botanical Gardens of Wales, Carmarthen - great day out for adults and children.
Porthgain – Really interesting little Harbour with rich history.A great place to start/finish a coastal walk with The Sloop Inn (est. 1743) and The Shed Bistro both serving great food.
St David’s, Pembroke – The UK’s smallest City.Huge Cathedral with important history dating back to the year 589.
Aberystwyth Cliff Railway (April to October) – operating since 1896, a really fun experience.
The Centre for Alternative Technology (CAT), Machynlleth – a great day out and well worth the 1hr 30 drive.
Elan Valley Dams & Reservoir, Rhayader – epic feat of engineering.Stunning when in full flow in Winter and beautifully scenic in Summer.
Cenarth Falls - only 10 mins drive away and a beautiful spot for a dog walk along the River Teifi.
